Temptation...

It's REAL. ..
As the smell of Kentucky Fried Chicken filled the house I hurried into the kitchen, gulped down 16 oz of room temperature water; quickly heated some organic Olive oil; chopped the onions and allowed the aroma to overpower the scent of chicken...I took a deep breath in and focused on a vision of the new version of me...

Continuing and now at peace i sliced and added the colorful aray of peppers-green, red and yellow (feeling mellow) diced some carrots and to wipe the memory away completely tossed in some fresh garlic and then lastly the thinly sliced apples and spinach leaves....

Yes...we conquered that one. I'm sitting and now savoring my good choice ♡

When God Puts His Finger On the Pulse

I believe that as.children, we display a proclivity for things that ultimately display our purpose and our passion. If watched carefully, a parent can identify what their child will be successful at. Often the pressure to do what is considered the norm, fears over not being "good enough" ; life experiences in general pull us away from what our true purpose is.....
But.... When God puts His finger on the pulse of what makes You You....watch out world! It's full speed ahead! Doors open, right connections are made; your life begins to flow in abundance!!!! That's the place we should all desire to reside in.

The State of the Banana

In response to the queation over my blackened over ripe banana: What I will usually do is freeze them when they become over ripe and use them for my smoothies either peeled or unpeeled.

Diabetics should avoid the overripe banana because the carbs turn into simple augers which can cause their glucose levels to rise. For the non diabetic however re riper the banana, the sweeter it is.

The spots on the peel actually indicate the amount of antioxidants present in the banana. As the banana ripens the level of antioxidants increase!

Divinely inspired

He is divinely inspired....and pours into her confirming all the  things God has whispered to her that she IS and has the God-given ability to become. Never losing her connection, she loves in return inspiring him to hear more and become more in Him.

In between the HERE and There

In between the HERE and THERE:

I always like to take a moment before pulling out of the school parking lot to sit quietly, roll down the windows, eat my lunch; Read hilarious status postings and just simply regroup before hitting the road. The ride home is usually 1 that includes a very specific playlist or an important phone call. Whatever the choice, I just love this me- time. I view it as the time "in between here and there", transitional space. Alot of things can change in between here and there. Minds can change; directional changes can occur; the Unexpected can occur all during this transition inbetween HERE and THERE.  I suppose all transitions can be viewed as such..... A time to re-assess re-evaluate, spend time with self. This ride used to seem long and tedious until I began to cherish and value it for its purpose. (Breathing in my me-time..from HERE to THERE)

Renovate your Home

So, let me know if you can catch this ##notsorandom Sunday Thought.
How do these pics relate? ( FYI I'm a visual learner and thinker)

I've been puttering around, cleaning out the refrigerator, thinking. Something that can lead me to "who Knows where" My thoughts settled on (l My Father's House " And the overwhelming Amount of internal work that has to be done,

What I decided to do was some external things like laying mulch, flowers on the porch, just to distract me from the internal Work needing to be done and which would eventually become unavoidable, Are you catching this?

So sitting here now touching up the French tue work it hit me that I Should share that while the minor touchups are acceptable and even necessary at times, don't let that be a distraction from the even more internal work, renovation, reorganization that is even more important within this house that Your Father has built, As pretty as it may appear on the outside, at some point You may want to Gpeh the doors and invite Someone in, You'll want them to feel at home won't you?
